Rupurrt the Ninja Kitty
Rupurrt the Ninja Kitty was a furbaby angel who was saved from a life on the streets, which included severe abuse and neglect. Despite his tragic beginnings he persevered and fought through nearly life-ending medical conditions. His adopted family spent four long years with him and they became a source of support for each other. Even though he struggled, he never let it get him down and continued to purr and bring happiness to his family. He became a silver lining and source of hope and love for his family. His page is dedicated to him and the love he selflessly gave to everyone. He and his page are all about love, fun, and education to continue the fight against abuse and de-clawing of furbabies. In addition, we assist in rescuing and finding forever homes for Furbabies anywhere!
Layla the Anti-Declawing Spokescat
Layla is a Paw Project Spokescat trying to educate and inform people about the dangers of declawing cats. Layla was declawed on her two front paws in 2009. She had her first “repair” surgery in 2012 where nail regrowth was removed on one paw. She had her second declaw regrowth surgery in 2013 on both front paws. In early 2015 she had yet another surgery to remove bone fragments of the P3 bone in each digit on her front paws. She’s regularly doing Companion Laser Therapy to help relieve arthritis pain and scar tissue build up. Our vision with this page is to share her medical journey and educate about the dangers of declawing. Thank you for following Layla’s story!

Love Your Pet Expo Sanctuary – Katie Ball
For the past 9 years I have put my love and passion into putting on the Love Your Pet Expo. This event is to acknowledge not only all the volunteers that put so much time, effort and love into the animals that they care for but all the pet owners in the community who love and cherish the pets in their lives. We, the pet community should come together and share our vision for a better world for our pets. In January of 2011, we became a 501(c)3 corporation as a sanctuary for special needs animals, giving them a forever home.
Writing under the pen-name of my roadie-kitty, Miss Diva Calico Knee-socks, Catkind.com is a collection of whimsical poetry and silly songs; setting the theme for a theatrical revue wherein we embrace the world with loving-kindness to felines, to all of God’s creatures. Catkind.com is, most benevolently, my prayer that someday soon, domestic felines and we, their “devoted Earthling companions,” shall see a national and global cease and desist of Onychectomy: cat declawing.
